How do I add my signature to my patient notes?
Option 1:
Write your patient note in WriteUpp
Press Insert annotation from the formatting tools in the tool bar
Select one of the blank images
Use the 'pen' tool to write your signature on the blank image
Press OK
This will insert an electronic signature into the note
Option 2:
Write your signature on a piece of paper and electronically scan it
Use the default photo editor software on your computer to crop the image
Write your patient note in WriteUpp
Insert the cropped image of your signature into the note
Click Save
This isn't something that we advocate. By inserting an image of your signature, it is very easy for fraudsters to copy and paste this image and mimic your signature
