The availability that patients see in Online Booking is determined by the free time you have in your diary.
If you have any existing Patient or Non-Patient Appointments in a certain slot, patients cannot book into it.
This is intended to prevent double-bookings. If you do wish to double book patients, you can do this manually by scheduling or dragging them in your diary.
If you do experience double booking, please check the appointment status you have used with the appointments already in your diary. For either a patient or non-patient appointment, the "Does this mean the patient is attending?" setting within the status needs to be set to "Yes":
This tells online booking that you are unavailable and that the slot cannot be offered. Just go to Settings -> Scheduling -> Appointment Statuses -> Edit to check this.
