Can I back-date my notes?

For compliance reasons we record the exact date/time when you make the note and not when the session took place.

Whilst we understand that this might be a little frustrating we do it this way so that its not possible to retrospectively enter a note a long-time after a session, say in the event of litigation.

If you wish to "back-date" a note we suggest you add a brief opening note at the start of your session notes along the lines of "Relates to dd/mm/yy".

You can also use the label field when creating a note to add a title:

This will be visible on the Notes tab of the patient summary:

And could be used to identify the date and time of the appointment, amongst other things.
