What are the default SMS appointment communication templates?

The default SMS appointment communication templates defined within WriteUpp are:

  • New appointment
  • New recurring appointment
  • Change appointment
  • Delete appointment
  • Delete recurring appointment
  • Appointment reminder 

The default content of each of these is listed below.

New appointment

Appointment Confirmation from ##MAINUNIT## for ##FROM## on ##DATE## ** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS TEXT **

New recurring appointment

Appointment Confirmation from ##MAINUNIT## for ##FROM## on ##DATE## - this is a recurring appointment ** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS TEXT **

Change appointment

Your appointment at ##MAINUNIT## has changed to ##FROM## on ##DATE## ** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS TEXT **

Delete single appointment

Your appointment at ##MAINUNIT## for ##FROM## on ##DATE## has been removed ** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS TEXT **

Delete recurring appointment

Your appointment at ##MAINUNIT## for ##FROM## on ##DATE## has been removed ** DO NOT REPLY TO THIS TEXT **

Appointment reminder

Reminder from ##MAINUNUT## - ##NAME## has an appointment on ##DATE## at ##FROM## **DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE**

 

These templates can be quickly and easily customised to your practice, which you can read about here

If for any reason you need to revert your communication templates back to the default, you can do this by:

1. Copying the relevant template text above

2. Logging into WriteUpp and going to Main Menu -> Settings -> Scheduling -> Appointment Communication

3. In your communication trigger table, click on the 3 dots at the end of a row containing an SMS communication and choose Edit

4. Click on Manage templates

5. Click on Edit alongside the template you'd like to change

6. Paste the copied text into the content box, then click Save template
